Archaeologists have found projectile tips used by early Americans in Idaho. This is thousands of years older than anything previously found on the continent.
Researchers, including those from Oregon State University in the United States, say the findings help fill a gap in the history of how early humans in America made and used stone weapons. .
A study published last week in Science Advances found that the tips of 13 complete fragmentary projectiles were razor-sharp, about 1.3 to 5 cm (0.5 to 2 inches) long, and dated. is about 15,700 years old.
